Do I dare believe the rumors??Its starting to look like referrals MAY be up to Dec. 27th!!! That is 8 days of LID's (log in dates)!!
I am SO trying to remain CALM! But all this chatter about the 27th is making me weak.
If and I say IF this is true then I may get a referral in March or April! I was really starting to think that a June referral was for me. IF this is true, then I really need to get organized!
I have left this adoption on the back burner for so long that now I am going to need to get serious and start MOVING!!
I need to get some crisp bills (if this is still required). I need to start buying some gifts to take with me. I need to check out the summer wardrobe for Loren and I. Get some good comfortable sandals, sneakers.
Need to get the bedroom ready for both girls! No...wait....I better wait on that. Not sure how old she will be. Don't want to put up the bed thinking an older child and find out that I really needed a crib. I better wait on that.
File my taxes!! So I can have some extra money for my 12 week leave.....ahhh , now that sounds nice!
Come On CCAA ...Let it be TRUE!!

As of today, 1/31, our agency has not received confirmation of referrals. They have access to the CCAA 'inner sanctum' portal and nothing official yet ....... queenie (rq) sure does stir up a good pot - keeps the ol' gal off the streets.
I am still trying to wrap my brain around this whole thing. I had myself prepared for a one LID referral and this is totally throwing me for a loop. We have so much to get ready as well. I guess we shouldn't complain about possibly being earlier than we thought.
I can feel the excitement. I love following others stories and I just get so excited when someone is getting close to a referral or has just gotten one. Every month I am hoping and praying for more and more referral days and more babies! I'm glad I found your blog. We have a LID 9/25/07 so are in for a very very long haul, but thankfully we can spend a lot of the wait on the computer watching everyone else. :-)
My fingers are crossed and when I read this I immediately came over to say.....

We are feeling the excitement too!! And we are the same, it has been so long since we researched and learned so much.... we have forgotten alot of "stuff". We also had a hard drive crash six months ago so lost lots of documents of lists and ldeas (our fault for not having a current back up).
