The silence is Deafening!! UGH!!

Oh No! What Does This Mean?

I have these ceramic Chinese figurines that a friend/co-worker gave me.
There are 3 figurines. Amy (my friend) said "The big one is you, the medium one is Loren and the small one is Abigail." I have the "mommy one" and the "Loren one" in my living room. The little one is in a box waiting to be added. Anyway, I was dusting yesterday and the "mommy one" slipped out of my hands and fell to the floor. The side of it cracked. I was so upset. I gently put it back together and placed it back near "Loren".
THEN... I have a red thread bracelet that I wear all the time. Last night at work, I lost it!!! I'm not sure how it happened!! I think that when I took a pair of gloves off I must have pulled the bracelet off with it and it probably went in the trash with all the "delivery stuff"...ya know.... dirty sponges, placenta etc. and I was not going to go digging in the trash!

My "China Things" are breaking or missing in action!! What does all this mean!!
After almost 27 months of waiting, I am getting a bit paranoid that its not going to happen!

Excuse Me

Not wanting to repeat myself, but what the heck is with March?
Does this month never ever end?? I think its been March 27th for about 2 weeks now!
I'm trying real hard to keep busy but I find myself at this computer looking for any and all rumors.
I'll take anything!
Just read that maybe Matching Has Begun...maybe.
I want to see and hear some real good rumors!!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

All of a sudden this month is starting to aggravate me! I know I am not supposed to wish my life away but I am all set with March 2008.
It can be DONE already!
Is this month really dragging or is it me?

On a better note I had to post this picture of Nick. I asked Nick if he was ready for bed and then I started doing something else in the house. When I finally walked into the bedroom this is what I saw.
Too cute huh??
I love this guy. He is my Buddy!
But he needs to push over! That's my side!!

Not Too Bad A Day!

Today I was supposed to take Loren and Kayla (cousin) to a baton twirling competition to see their friend Sarah perform, but Auntie Mitch was very sick so plans were cancelled.
So here I am with 2 girls looking at me for something to do.


Horton Hears A Who to the rescue!! The girls really enjoyed this movie...I did too!


After the movie we went to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.
Stopped at a "fun" store in the mall for some beautiful bracelets, a magic wand for Loren and a pony that grows when put in water for Kayla.

Then off to McDonald's for something to eat (even after popcorn and apple juice at the movies!)
And ended the day playing outside on the swings.
Loren loves her hat. I don't know what she is going to do when the weather gets warmer! The girl is going to go through some major hat withdrawals!!






Not too bad a day if I have to say so myself!

I Wonder

Now that I know I am next, I am actually very calm. No wondering WHEN anymore. Just waiting for a referral in April.
But I have been wondering...
How old she is?
If she will look anything like Loren?
What she is doing right now? Is she sleeping, crying, playing, eating?
How she will react on Forever Family Day. Will she be frightened?

How will Loren be? Will they bond? Will the transition go smoothly?
Will Loren know that my love for her hasn't changed. That she will ALWAYS be my baby.
That because of her I became a mother.
That she is and always will be My Answered Prayer.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind and encouraging words.
I was pretty depressed yesterday. I didn't think it would affect me that much but I was wrong! I was down right SAD!!
I am much better today. Hey! I get to have the whole summer off!!
I know I will be lovin that and be grateful that "it" happened when "it" did.
So stay tuned for "Abigail in April"!!
I can't wait to finally see her face and
"Meet her in May"!!
It is finally finally going to happen!!

I AM NEXT!!! YAHOO!!

So, I Guess It's April!!

I missed referrals by ONE DAY!!!!
One stickin day.
Don't know what else to say.
Am I disappointed?? You better believe it! Those last few posts from RQ got me hoping just a bit!! She should have left it as Jan.4th. Not this R1 stuff.
Just that one day could mean that I may have to travel alone with Loren.
Could be a bit stressful to say the least.
