Our Cat Brie

Just wanted to add a pic of our cat Brie. Did not want to leave her out.
She is so sweet, gentle and very shy. Her fur is as soft as silk. I have never felt fur as soft as hers. Ever.
She was born to a feral cat outside my aunt's house. We coaxed her into the house with Brie cheese. Thats how she got her name.

Well Here We Go Again

Well it's almost that time again for referrals. This is when I start to get a bit anxious. Always hoping that they (CCAA) will get through alot more LID's then they have been.
With an LID of 1-5-06 I am approx. 8 weeks from the next batch of LID's, but in reality that could mean another 8 MONTHS!! UGH!!

Meet the Rest of My Family

Didn't want to forget the rest of my Family.
Meet Nick, our 6yo Cock-a-Poo. Very friendly and way too smart!
I will post a picture of our 10yo cat Brie when I can find one. She's a bit shy, but beautiful.

Introduction......A Beginner

I finally got the courage to try and start a blog.
I am not very good at the computer but I am told that blogging is easy so here goes.

I had to give some thought as to what my blog name would be. I chose (with the help of my niece, thanks Jess) My Answered Prayers.

I watched family and friends become parents and even though I was very happy for them, I couldn't help but ask "Why not me?"

God had another plan for me. And Wow! What a Plan!!

In October 2002 I became a mother to a beautiful 13 month old little girl from China. My Daughter, My Answered Prayer.
I cannot imagine my life without her.
Now I understand. Thank You God.

Loren and I are now waiting for Mei Mei (Abigail). We are LID 1-5-06 and are patiently waiting and waiting and waiting and.........for that special Referral Day!!
My Answered Prayer.

So the name "My Answered Prayers"
