Long Time No Post

Haven't posted in awhile. Now that I'm back to work I'm not sure where the time goes.
So What's been happening?

Lets see..
I started back to work Sept. 15th. A new job. Closer to home, 8 hour shifts instead of 12 and NO nights!!
I am poorer but I am hoping I will be less exhausted not having to work 12 hour overnight shifts.
These past few weeks have been orientation. Boring and Busy!

Loren is back to school AND enjoying her new school which is a relief for me.
I was worried that she would miss all her friends from last year, but she is making new friends and having fun!
Loren got to have 3 Birthday Parties this year. Her "friends party" got postponed due to my sisters house fire. So she had a small family party on her birthday then she did get her Bowling Party a few weeks ago and because Auntie Mitch couldn't make either party Loren also got a party at Auntie Mitch's the following week.
Not too bad!

Just an FYI, Auntie Mitch is not my sister. She is my friend, My BFF. A blessing to me and my family. We have been friends for years. Through the good times and the not so good times.
I have watched her children grow, become adults and now parents!
OK, that makes me feel old,......Oh Yeah, I am old!!

Happy Birthday Loren.

Abby is doing well. She is now pulling herself up on anything she can hold on to.
A chair, your leg, the dog.... you get the picture.
She is crawling around and actually has mastered going forward!! I thought she was going to crawl backwards forever!
She can clap, wave bye bye, blow kisses, "cough", "sneeze" and sign for more.
She can say "bye bye", "pup" (for up) and Papa (not mama). Will nod her head yes when you ask her a question but has not mastered shaking her head no.
She is getting a real good handle on the sippy cup!! This excites me because I really don't like the " bottle thing" and formula (very expensive). I have started the count down to no more formula!! Abby will be 1 on Oct. 30th.

Abby has also decided that Stage 3 foods are horrible and refuses to eat them.
I can get her to eat the fruits but not the food so she has "grown up" food chopped or smashed. She does real well feeding herself fingerfoods. She now has 4 teeth!

Abigail! What are you drinking??

Caught in the act!

Nick had a birthday Oct. 1st. He is 8 years old! But he's still my puppy.
Happy Birthday Nick!
He hates the camera, can ya tell?

We have 2 new additions to our family. Skip and Chip.
My niece couldn't keep her "kitten cats" (they will be a year old in November) in her new apartment and was heartbroken to have to give them away, soooo...yep...the animal lover said.."Well if they can get along with Nick then they can live here".

All together and looking pretty comfortable

Meet Skip. Skip got his name because he does just that....skips around!!
Loren and Skip have become good friends.

And Chip! Chip got his name because he had a "misfigured paw" and looked like a chip was missing. When my niece brought them to the Vets for their first visit the reason why the misfigured paw?? His nail had grown down into his pad making it look like he had a missing "finger". His paw is fine but the name is the same.

Chip and Abby have become good friends.

Well thats all for now. 1 day off and have to clean the house!
How I hate that job.
Blessings,

LOL! Gail! My philosophy is, you're only as old as you feel!

And believe me - I feel it when I try to get up from the floor! LOL!
